typical conversation with a two-year-old

Little- future stoplight

Me: What do you want to do when you grow up?

Little: Be like [big].

Me: What job do you want to have?

Little: Boistop

Me: Boistop?

Little: Yes.

Me: Stoplight?

Little: Yes!

Me: You want to be a stoplight when you are big?

Little: Yes!

Me: What can daddy and I do to help you realize that dream (yes, I really said that to a two-year old)

Little: Lay down.

Now that is a plan I can get behind.

You’ve got to let them have their dreams!

I wish I could just lie down and all my dreams would come true… wait, that sounds questionable.
